Circa 1900 Chinese Export Rose Medallion Sauce or Gravy Boat. It has the "china" mark on the base so that dates it after 1891. It measures 7" from spout to handle. The inside is decorated with a famille rose border and a famille rose with a bird inside a gilded circle with butterflies on each side. The outside is decorated with a rose meddallion scene on one side going from spout to handle and a famille rose with greenery with two ducks. The panel just underneath the spout for pouring is a bird with a rose around a gilded circle.
