Circa 1890 French Limoge Oyster Plate measuring 9 1/8" in diameter. Good Condition. French Limoge and other varying makers of oyster plates are very collectible especially on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.Very Collectible. This oyster plate is in very good condition and on the back is marked Limoge France. Also is marked LS&S-Limoge, France which was probably the maker's mark. Good Condition. No chips, cracks or restoration. Very popular on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, especially on Kent Island. The Fisherman's Inn, a Seafood Restaurant has quite a collection of oyster plates decorating many of the walls of this fine Seafood Restaurants.
