Circa 1740-1760 Chinese Export Sauce/Gravy Boat decorated with the arms of Skinner under the spout. It measures 8" from end of handle to the end of the spout. This fabulous piece is also decorated on the exterior with famille rose floral garland, interior decorative band. Inside the shield of the Armorial Skinner's Crest their is a firing mark coming into the inside near the shield. No other damage and appears to have no restoration. This Skinners coat of arms is identified in David Sanctuary Howard's book on Chinese Export Porcelain, Volume 1.
