Stafforfdshire historical brown transfer-printed plate in the "Wild Rose" pattern border, depicting a landscape designed by Capability Brown in the late 18th century, being the seat of the Earl of Harcourt, Nuneham Courtney with its Park & House (near Oxford) and the ferry with the ferryman's cottage. 9-1/2", unsigned. England, circa 1820-40. Excellent condition.
