Staffordshire historical dark blue 10-1/2" plate in the 15-States pattern showing the original 13 states plus Vermont and Kentucky in the border, and with a central scene of a plantation house with deer in a meadow, and a bust of George Washington, figures of Justice and Liberty and the title "America and Independence". Impressed mark on the back: Clews Warranted Staffordshire. England circa 1817-30. Excellent condition.
