A fine early C1752 - 56 red anchor period Chelsea strawberry leaf dish hand painted in three shades of green with purple leaf veins, floral sprays and green twig handle. A beautiful dish in overall fine condition with virtually no wear and just two very small areas of professional restoration to the leaf tips as indicated in the photograph. On the underside below the handle there is a little kiln dirt. There are no other chips, cracks or restoration. Marked to the base with the Chelsea red anchor. Measures 23 cms long x 19 cms wide x 5.5 cms high.
