A Davenport Porcelain Dessert Service, Circa 1840-45. The service is beautifully decorated with a small bouquet of geraniums in the centre and scattered on the rim. ;The rim with a band of orange dots on a gilt shaped ground. This species of geranium was called "Cheerfulness." The service consists of ten plates and three footed compotes. Mark: DAVENPORT LONGPORT STAFFORDSHIRE below a crown & pattern # 1693
