Cup and saucer by Royal Worcester, England, 1922. Surface richly gilded, signed and handpainted with fruit & foliage by top Worcester artists Horace H Price and Albert Shuck.Cup is 2 1/8inch high and 3 3/8inch in diameter. Saucer is 5 1/2inches in diameter.Outside of cup and handle are richly gilded as is center of saucer. Cup painted with grapes and plums in a landscape/ amidst foliage and signed HH Price. Saucer is similarly painted with apples, cherries, both red and purple and foliage. It is signed A. Shuck.Both items have puce marks underneath. A star with 3 dots on either side indicates the date, 1922.Condition is very close to MINT. There is a minute white fleck on the saucer.
