Genuine hand engraving, decorated under glaze, Detergent and Acid Resisting Colors' There is an age crack from the rim to about 3/4 of the way across the saucer, but it does not move. There is also a chip 1/4'' wide on the back that is not visible from the front. The scene is a lovely small mill cottage on a pond with trees, clouds and waterside plants.
