A ceramic mug, made for the National Trust (England) by Boncath Pottery. It commemorates the 80th birthday of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother, in 1980. The Queen Mother was President of the National Trust. Decorative flower pattern depicts the rose of England and the thistle of Scotland. Mug is 8.5 cm high and 8cm diameter (3.3/8 inches by 3.1/8 inches). Excellent condition, just normal clean body crazing of glaze on earthenware.
