Biedermeier coffee cup & saucer, painted with a spray of forget-me-nots, the cup with an elegant birds neck handle, the saucer with an inter-crossing scroll in gold.
Marked with ‘S’ in blue, also impressed S and 3.

References: Schlaggenwald was a Bohemian factory, founded 1793. This mark dates to 1810-32. In 1831, the opinion was that the products were superior to the state run Vienna works! The factory lies just within modern day Czech, now Horni Slavkov.
