Antique pair of blue and white porcelain cups or tea bowls and saucers. Made China 1720 - 1750. Saucers are a little over 4 1/4 inches in diameter. Cups a little over 2 3/4 inches accross the top and slightly under 1 1/2 inches high. Round saucers stand on circular rims underneath. The bowls/cups have tiny round bases and flare out towards the top. Blue and white painting with flower theme: large central flowers and half large flowers on each of the cardinal points. Spriggs of smaller flowers and foliage intersperced between them. Geometric, fish scale and scrolling patterns on petals of larger flowers. Blues in different tones from light to inky. Gold linear highlights. A pictogram may be a personal signature underneath. Condition is good. One bowl has a hairline crack, shown very clearly in the ''photos.
