Very early English ceramic chocolate set consisting of a chocolate pot with 4 cups.Made early 19th century or even earlier. Pot is 6 1/2inches high. Cups are 4 1/4inches high.Very beautiful pot in white with simple gold trim, handpainted with scattered flowers. Delicate painting of this sort is more typical of the 18th century. The cups are goblet shaped withmoulded raised patterns of a simple loop and circle. Similar delicate painting above it.Much of the gilding is lost.
