They are marked on the bottom,"Franciscan Made in California U.S.A. Hand Decorated Gladding McBean & Co. Oven-Safe." There is a tiny chip on the handle of the sugar bowl, but otherwise both are in really good condition. the creamer measures 4 1/4" in height, 4 1/2" from side to side, and 3 5/8" from front to back. The sugar bowl is 3" in height, 5 1/4" from side to side, and 3 3/4" from front to back. Together these pieces weigh 1 pound. We do not know the exact age.
