A splendid example of an early C1757 Worcester Sucrier hand decorated in underglazed blue with the Feather Mould Floral pattern. A beautifully moulded Crocus flower head knop with slightly raised stem. This is a particularily fine example as the knop is in the correct proportion. You will see some with very small and poorly moulded or more flared knops. There are no cracks, chips or restoration to the body or lid, a petal has cleanly broken off and been re fitted showing a very faint barely visible line. A Worcester workmans mark to the underside of the lid and body. Measures 11.5 cm high overall.
