Victorian, circa 1880 Majolica grape and strawberry compote. Top and foot decorated with green strawberry leaves, ochre flowers and strawberries, and purple grapes on brown ground. Green and brown mottled under rim, ochre underside with three stilt marks. Good. No restoration. No cracks. No hairlines. Chip and bruise to the rim. Slight wear to top. 4.5ins high, 9ins diameter
