A late 1800's American majolica compote made by Griffen Smith Hill (Pennsylvania). Colorful pink and cream colored daisies with green leaves and a green and blue main color. The interior of the bowl is pink. Stands 5" high and the top diameter is 9". There is a rim chip as shown and there is crazing normal with age. Marked on the bottom. The colors have remained strong with age.
