Victorian, circa 1870 Wedgwood Majolica candle holder, the base in the form of three lily pads with their stems bound to form the handle. Lily flower at the center of the pads, with stamen forming the sconce. Glazed in green, ochre, white, turquoise and brown. Turquoise glaze inside the sconce and to the underside. Impressed maker''s mark ''WEDGWOOD'' and indistinct date cipher inside the foot. Good. No cracks. No hairlines. A few tiny flakes to sconce rim. Slight wear to underside of handle. Slight staining to sconce rim. Restored chip to rim and another to under rim. Repair to base of sconce. Restored flakes around the edge of central flower. 8ins wide, 2.5ins high
