Handsome pair of Derby candlestick figures, with a lady in a feathered hat gathering flowers in her apron balanced by a gent holding out a flower, with finely gilt flowers to the clothes, each on grassy flower strewn mounds with reserves of claret rococo scrolls, each figure resting a hand on the elaborate scrolling candlestick also in claret, supporting porcelain sconces.
Circa 1780
Condition: restored feathers; her face & neck very well restored; sconce supports restored at top; sconces later replacements
