Victorian, circa 1880 Majolica sardine box, which features pineapple pattern ground, stiff leaf borders and a fish handle. Good. No restoration. Tiny chip to rim of lower base edge. Some flakes to the rim of the lid, and one to pineapple pattern. Kiln effects: shrinkage crack to the underside; glaze miss to the rim of lower base; firing crack to the rim of the dish; kiln detritus on the lid. 3.9ins high, 8.3ins wide, 7.5ins depth
