Circa 19th century dresser box / jewel casket, Wavecrest, CF Monroe, Meriden, Conn, Helmschmid swirl, white opal glass, soft luster/matte finish, hand enameled florals painted on top and sides gilt metal mounts.

- Helmschmid swirl was designed and patented by the CF Monroe company.
- CF Monroe patterns were company designed and patented. Concerning signatures…Monroe himself stated that his glass speaks for itself and therefore does not need signatures on every piece.
