Circa 1920 Wedgwood Fairyland lustre imperial bowl. Exterior decorated with the Woodland Bridge pattern on black background. Cobble bead around the foot. Interior is decorated with the Picnic by a River pattern. Pattern number and gilt Portland Vase mark to underside. Patterns illustrated on page 113 and 167 ''Wedgwood Fairyland Lustre'' by Una des Fontaines. Good. No restoration. No cracks. No hairlines. No chips. No flakes. Slight wear to both sides. Slight rubbing to gilt rim and exterior. Kiln effect: line under the glaze on the underside. It is neither visible, nor detectable on the inside of the bowl. The bowl rings well. 8.25ins diameter, 3.75ins high
