Circa 1780 Chinese Export Tea Bowl with a monogrammed initial with streamers and two hearts. This is lowenstoft, as Elinor would say. A tea bowl measuring 3 1/2" in diameter andv 1 7/8" in depth. The outside border is 80% rubbed off from handling over the past 200 years. The border on the inside is decorated with blue stars with a goldish swag that is not worn too badly. The outside center is a armorial crest with streamers of blue and gold ribbons going down toward a crest with two blue hearts decorated in blue stars with the monogrammed initials of L M W. I have no idea who it was for or if it is historically important, but for the price it would make a great holiday gift to a collector.
