From its styling, I would estimate this lovely berry bowl set dates to somewhere between the 1930's to perhaps the 40's or 50's.Hallmarked Z.S. & Co. Bavaria, this 7~piece set consists of the master berry bowl and 6 small berry bowls. A soft, shaded green coloring serves as the perfect backdrop for the luscious pink hand painted roses. Gold rims complete the presentation.The master bowl is 9 1/4" in diameter and 2 1/8" in height while the smaller bowls are 5 1/8" in diameter and 1" in height at the rims. All of the pieces are free of any nicks, chips, cracks or crazing. There is some VERY minor wear to the gold on the rims, and one small berry bowl does show firing marks, which is not uncommon in older porcelain. Truly a lovely set for display or usage.
