For Sale is a lovely piece of art pottery made by The Roseville Pottery Company of Zanesville, Ohio. The pattern is called "Snowberry" and the shape is a large Console Bowl. The Bowl is quite large as it measures roughly 16" wide outside handles measurement and 7 1/2" deep and 3 1/2" Tall. The inside oval opening is 11 3/4" wide, this the 12" mark along the bottom.
The Bowl depicts very Nice clusters of White Berries with a handful of Detailed Green Leaves on Brown winding branches adorning the top edge of the Bowl on both sides. There are open applied buttressed triangular shaped handles on each end. This is set against a Matt Country Blue Glaze with Rose hues. This is the largest of the Console Bowls in this Style in this Snowberry Line.
The Bowl is considered to be in Excellent Condition as there are no chips, cracks, nicks or dings. The piece is signed with "Roseville U.S.A. 1BL2-12" in raised relief signature and shape number. This is a large Console Bowl and would look just great on your Dining Room table. It is very hard to find this size with no damage. I am happy to report that there is none. This is a large bowl to ship. I will charge a flat rate of $25 for double boxing with full Insurance. The box size is 22" wide.
This Console Bowl was made Circa 1947 just after the end of World War II.
