Beautiful antique Meissen bowl decorated with gold. The bowl has a very unusual shell like design. It has a lot of detail and sculpture along the surface. We have not seen one like this before. It has a diameter of 9 inches and measures 1-1/2 inches high. It is in very good used condition showing only minimal wear for a piece of this age. It most likely was not used much and was probably in a display cabinet where it could be admired. It ha the Meissen blue crossed sword glaze markings, with incised numbers and letters, and other blue glazed markings. This is a rare and beautiful Meissen bowl guaranteed to please its new owner.
