Beautiful large Limoge bowl. This bowl is another truly fine example of French professional porcelain decorating. Fully marked for the Elite Works porcelain factory and decorating studio. The porcelain itself has an undulating, graceful shape and soft cream color and is decorated on the inside of the bowl with a delicate vine and lovely flowers in orange, lavender and green. It is artist signed, ( Flora?) on the interior of the bowl. The handles and rim are heavily bright gold gilded. Very good original condition, with small faults in the glaze which I believe are original to the manufacturing process. Fresh from a local Brooklyn estate. 11 1/2" wide x 10" deep x 2 1/2" tall.
