Rare Clifton Fourmile Ruin Indian Ware bowl measuring 3 1/2" high X 8 1/2" wide. Clifton produced this pattern from 1906-1914 which was a line of art pottery adapted from historic Pueblo Indian pots in digs and ruins from Arizona, Florida, Arkansas, and other US Indian territory areas. Fourmile Ruins in AZ was a historic Hopi village. The last Clifton Fourmile Ruins pot to sell was at a Rago auction in 2004 that was cracked still achieving $500. This piece is marked on the bottom FOURMILE RUIN AR, and Clifton shape number '150'. The piece is in excellent condition with no damage or repair.
