Art Deco Clarice Cliff Newport Pottery fruit bowl. Octagonal shape with shaped sides and a pattern of embossed fruit and flowers with bluebirds. Don't know what this pattern is - possible a variation of My Garden, or Celtic Harvest? The mould number is (I think - its blurry) 314, dating it around 1928+. Bowl measures approx. 22 cm wide and 9 cm high (8.3/4 inches wide and about 3.1/2 inches high). Body colour is a matt, slightly mottled, silver/beige grey. Excellent condition body, with a few minor stains - one in the inside, and two under the pattern on the lower part of the body (hidden from view).
