An outstanding Worcester slop bowl with the popular printed Birds in Branches pattern together with a rare hand painted border. The majority of tea wares with this pattern come with no border or two blue lines it is unusual and rare to see this border. Reference Brandon, French and Sandon Worcester Blue & White Porcelain 1751 - 90 Second edition page 354 - II.B.21

This bowl can only be described as perfect. The print and hand painted border are beautifully clear. A little stray blue in the bottom of the bowl but this has not resulted in the pattern blurring. A small overglazed chip to the inner footrim. The Worcester hatche crescent to the base. Measures 16.5 cm diameter.
