Very fine, large, Dresden reticulated bowl. This beautiful piece of German porcelain is the kind of work that made Dresden renown for it's skill with porcelain. Decorated with bright bouquets of flowers on a fine white back round, with sweeping open-work (reticulated) sides that are also painted with swags of bright blooms. The finishing touch on this basket is lots of fine bright gold brush work. Fully marked for the fine Dresden maker Helena Wolfsohn (1843-83). Excellent original condition. Fresh from a Brooklyn estate. 6 3/4" wide x 10 1/2" long x 3" tall.
