An English Delftware Colander Bowl, London, Circa 1780. The bowl has a concave top with a stylized diaper border pattern alternating with a dark blue panel with a scroll design. ;The center with a large central hole and a series of 4 bands of pierced holes, the first three in the form of hearts and the last outer band of circular form. ;Around these drainage holes are a series of different stylized flower heads & leaf designs as well as a star-burst design. ;There is a slot to one side. The outside of the bowl has a series of different Chinoiserie landscape views. ;The condition is excellent with three glaze cracks to the underside of the bowl. ;The base rim reduced.
