Made by Wedgwood, England, Large Blue and White bowl with architectural, nautical and floral decoration. Slightly flow blue. Measures: 3 3/4'' high; diam is 8 1/2''. Wonderful views of castles, forts and towns ( FERRARA??), with boats and ships in the foreground. Inside upper rim has margin, over 2'' wide of flowers. The transfers end suddenly and there are clear areas where the patterns join. Marks: Impressed Wedgwood and model number. Blue underglaze marks ''FERRARA; ETRURIA ENGLAND; and WEDGWOOD. Also a large blue underglaze ''C''. Condition: very good. No chips/cracks of any sort. There are 3 small dots in a circle where the glaze does not quite cover the surface - probably due to something touching the piece in the kiln and not to be seen as damage.
