Victorian, circa 1890 French Palissy Majolica hanging basket which features an open log with leaves, a snail, moth and a lizard. Colouration: brown, cream, green, are predominant. Book reference not found. Generally good. Wear to the bottom, where the piece sits on a surface. Remodelled lizard head. Stabilized and retouched crack to the side. Retouched flake to rim 4.3ins high, 10.1ins wide, 5.1ins depth
