Derby basket of oval openwork form, superbly painted to the center with a large chinoiserie scene including a fisherman, two swans, a square sailed junk, and large pagodas, within a cell border and with flowerheads painted to the basketweave terminals, the outside applied & painted with similar flowerheads, with double blue twist handles.
Unmarked, circa 1765
