A fine and delicately moulded Worcester basket with rope twist handles decorated with the printed pinecone pattern and hand painted lambrequin border. This particular basket has been very finely moulded with small flowers to the intersections of the baskets weave, overall the moulding is lighter and more delicate than many baskets I have seen. There are the usual very small losses to the tips of a few petals and leaves including one tip of a petal that was lost during production and overglazed. Crucially the basket and handles are in excellent condition with no cracks chips or restoration. Marked to the base with the Worcester hatched crescent. Measures 17.5 cms long x 15 cms wide.
