Circ 1989, these beautiful shipping menus are from P & O Line ship, the "Pacific Princess". The prints on the menu covers are all scenes of India, originally painted 1789 and 1790 by Thomas Daniell and his nephew William. They are very atmospheric renditions of forts, ruins, castles and rural scenes. There is an accompanying page about the Daniells in India. Very attractive items.
