Nast Harper's Weekly Cover, January 13, 1877. Black; cream. Paper. This original engraved cover is marked, "Harpers Weekly, Vol. XXI.--No. 1046, New York, Saturday, January 13, 1877." The engraving is titled, "Justice Brings Peace." It is signed, "Th: Nast." It show Justice holding her scales and sword in one hand and a baby, with 1877 over its head, in the other hand. Father time, the Capitol dome and a dove of peace are in the background.
