Greetings card with embossed lace effect in the paper of the front panel. There is a cut-out with fine gauze behind it, revealing a small painting of flowers inside the card. Above and below this painting it reads: "Constancy. Affection." The flowers are hand painted.
Card measures 18 cm by 11.5 cm (about 7 inches by 4.1/2 inches). Has two tears to the front page at the right hand side, where it has been creased at some time. Otherwise very good condition. Circa mid 19th century, 1850-1860.
