Fabulous old Paper Covered Biscuit Tin from Huntley & Palmers, of Reading, England. Founded in 1822, this was once the largest biscuit factory in the world, and was awarded 2 grand prizes "for home consumption".
This particular tin does show its age, with paper wear and tearing. There is no top. But the main graphics and lettering are wonderful. The label is green and red with stylized lettering. The tin itself is good, with no dents. Advertisement on bottom of tin. It measures approximately 9 1/4" wide x 4 1/2" deep x 4 1/2" high.
