This beautiful turned wood lamp was acquired from the Pacific Heights (San Francisco) estate of Paul "Red" Fay, prominent businessman, social figure, and Undersecretary of the Navy in the Kennedy and Johnson administrations. It features a double row of brass chain and cast brass fittings over an ebonized base on brass feet. The height measurement is to the top of the brass shaft.
