A marvelous antique single-light semi-flush mount chandelier, dating from the 1920’s and retaining its original polychrome finish. Found in Iowa, this chandelier begins with a simple canopy accented with a cluster of polychrome leaves. Two wrought iron bands, each hung with an icicle prism, form the chandelier body and converge at a foliate bobeche at the bottom. The bobeche has polychrome leaves and a flower below, with a dangling tassel finial at the bottom. This semi-flush light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The light fixture measures 7†wide and 16-1/4†long.
