This is a handsome antique five-light semi flush mount chandelier, circa 1920’s, made of bronze and iron. This Spanish Revival chandelier begins with a canopy ornamented with foliate detail, coming down in a rod to hammered bronze volutes that support the chandelier body. The body is formed of a wide iron ring accented with shields framed in volutes. Five bracket-shaped arms, adorned with volutes and ending in spears, support hanging bobeches with cutout borders. Underneath, the chandelier features an intricate design of shells and volutes, finishing in a dangling bronze finial at the center. This semi-flush light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The light fixture measures 20 ½” wide and 21 ¼” long.
