This delightful pair of antique sconces, circa 1910, retains their original, beautifully aged silver plate over brass and pewter. These sconces feature a grooved, torch-shaped back plate, capped with a stylized pineapple finial. The graceful S-shaped sconce arms are fastened near the center of the back plates with honeysuckle-leaf appliqu s, and curve up to accept bobeches ornamented with floret, foliate, and volute details. Each pair of volutes on the bobeche frames its original gleaming icicle prism. The wall lamps have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. These are 4 wide, 13 tall and extend 7 from the wall.
