Large Empire style polychrome decorated Tole pineapple sconce or stand. Soft red and green painted colors and parcel gilt. Exceptional hand accomplished quality. There are many uses for these sconces such as a pair on either side of interior doors for a Welcome gesture. They can be hung on the wall or stand on the floor. A unique addition to the sconce are three small electrical bulbs in back. One at the top and two on the back of the base.
