Art Nouveau/Deco transition period wall sconce with mold blown glass shade by renowned French maker Degue (unsigned). The art glass acid etched shade has a pattern of high relief roses and is an extremely pale shade of blue. This sconce has been attached to a wood base for use as a table lamp, but is ready to hang for use as a sconce. Currently wired with the original plug and wire for European electricity. The shade is in very good condition, with only one very tiny flake on the interior of the rim. I did not see this flake the first three times I examined the shade, as it is so small, and it can only be seen with the light at exactly the right angle to the shade. Dimensions: Depth from wall (not counting wooden base) to tip of glass shade: 13.25 inches; overall height when hung on wall: 6.25 inches; Diameter of shade: 3.75 inches.
