This gorgeous pair of antique sconces dates from the 1920s. They are constructed of cast brass with amazing silver plating. The back plate of these sconces begins with a peaked and scrolled top finial, which crowns the uniquely shaped body of these sconces. Scalloped and banded about the edges, the back plates display a hammered effect within the center, have a shield type appearance, and display foliation that compliments the top finials. Each of the sconces two arms flank the center turn switch and curve outward toward lovely bases, which are adorned with stylized fleur-de-lis ornamentation. The bobeches themselves show fluting and corresponding foliation. We kept the original nonfunctioning antique turn switches for nostalgia s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if so desired. These wall lamps have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The measurements are 10 long measured, 9 wide, and protrude 4 from the wall.
