A fabulous pair of antique Neoclassical single-arm sconces with their original glass shades, dating from the 1920’s. The backplate of each sconce is ornamented with a Greek key motif, interspersed with polychrome flowers and foliate detail. The sconce arm, ornamented with flowers, supports a glass shade ornamented with flowers and leaves. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; the glass is also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected fleabites around the rims. The sconces have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Each sconce is 4 1/2†wide, 10 1/2†tall, and projects 5 ¾†from the wall.
