A beautiful pair of antique Neoclassical sconces with prisms, in their original silver plate over pewter. These single-arm sconces are marked with a 1921 patent date. The shield-shaped backplate is crowned with volute detail and festooned with silver-plated draperies. A substantial sconce arm supports a beaded bobeche hung with icicle prisms. These wall lamps are in excellent condition with a beautifully aged finish; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces measure 10 ¾†tall, 4 5/8†wide, and project 6†from the wall.
