A fabulous pair of antique double-arm sconces in cast iron, dating from the 1920’s, made by Markel Electric Products. These were salvaged from a house in Fort Madison, Iowa. The cast iron backplate features flowers and leaves at the top and bottom, with a rope oval in the center. Two wrought iron sconce arms, fastened with flower buttons, support double-layer foliate bobeches. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. The sconces measure 12†tall, 9-1/2†wide, and project 6†from the wall.
